Colony
5-10cm,. Polyps 1cm in diameter on stalks 0.5-2cm long. Eight broad
tentacles with thick side branches. Beige, pink, pale powder blue
to bright blue, entire animal the same colour. The polyps don't pulsate.
On stones in coral rubble. Commonly seen on our Southern shores.

skinny tentacles with short thin side branches. Side branches brownish,
oral disk and tentacles white, greenish or bluish. The polyps emerge
from an encrusting purple common membrane. The polyps don't pulsate.
