15, 16 and 17 Dec: A Compassionate Christmas--Acres roadshow

Dear Acres supporters,

Thanks to your generous support we have raised about $100,000 or about 10% of the funds needed for the establishment of the Acres Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC). This is a very encouraging start!

However, we are still a long way off our target of over a million dollars. Please consider making a donation to help us with this vital project (http://www.acres.org.sg/donate.html).

I’m glad to inform you that we have submitted the construction plans to URA for approval and we expect to start construction in a few weeks. As the year draws to a close, we really need to all pull together to meet our fundraising targets for the AWRC for this year and we need your help!

We are shortly carrying out our last major fundraising drive for this year- a “Compassionate Christmas” public roadshow. Please do come along and support us and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Come and buy our Acres merchandise items for unique animal-friendly Christmas gifts, and at the same time give the animals a Christmas present too- the chance of a better life.

We also need volunteers to help us at the roadshow on every day. Please contact Charlene at charlene@acres.org.sg if you would like to help.

We are currently busy working on our end of the year newsletter which is, as ever, packed with Acres news and animal features. If you would like to receive our newsletter, please consider becoming a member or making a monthly donation to Acres. Only with your regular support are we able to continue making a difference for the animals.

Best wishes, Louis Ng (MSc)
