Central lagoon (south)
 At the mouth of the southern portion of the lagoon are hard corals, many of them small and obviously recently settled. This narrow reef flat extends all the way along the sea wall under the jetty. Nudibranchs, seahorses and other animals are found here. On the sea wall rocks are mudskippers, crabs and other creatures typically found in such habitats.
