for NSS members only

Kampung trees continued.. with the Nature Society (Singapore)'s Plant Group. A number of participants came for a walk at the Botanic Gardens in Sep, and braved heavy rains on an Oct afternoon to see fruit trees and other kampung plants. This trip will venture on a trail more heavily used but perhaps under-appreciated for its cultural value. The path to Bukit Kalang Treetop Walk is not long but will pass through pleasant traditional countryside of a kind not accessible to most people nowadays. Come prepared for rain but most of all for kampung fun! The more energetic ones can continue to the NParks-HSBC Treetop Walk or experience the lovely forests lining MacRitchie Trail.

Time: 3pm. Met at Venus Dr. carpark, off Upp Thomson Rd (past Thomson Plaza)
