14 Sep (Wed): Free talk on House Crows, Pink-necked Pigeons and Zebra Doves: Confessions of a sometime bird watcher

Dr Wee Yeow Chin, a plant watcher, got interested in bird watching when a pair of House Crows nested in his garden. This excited him so much that when a pair of Pink-necked Pigeons next nested there, he really got hooked on birds. His next encounter was with a pair of Yellow-vented Bulbuls and currently, a pair of Zebra Doves. In his enthusiasm to document the breeding stages of these birds, he ended up spending hours watching them and snapping literally hundreds of images with his faithful digital camera. He has now been persuaded to speak of his experience with these birds. Join us while Dr Wee shares with us the private lives of birds.
