22-28 Nov

24 Nov (Wed): Slidetalk ‘The Flying Lemur (Colugo) in Singapore’ by Norman Lim
Time: 7.00pm at the Geylang East Community Library, Merpati Hall, 3rd floor.

The Flying Lemur, or more properly ‘Colugo’ is one of Singapore’s most enigmatic native mammals. It inhabits our primary and secondary forests, and can be seen by day for those with sharp eyes. Norman, now a postgraduate at the National University of Singapore, has spent many long hours studying the species in the wild. He will share with you some of the results of his studies, and slides of this and other species encountered during his time in the forest. Those interested in how our larger native wildlife manages to survive in our fragmented forests will enjoy this event.
