Also on rocks. Commonly seen on our Northern shores. 1-3.5cm. Shell white, flat. Found on the inside of a shell occupied by a hermit crab, also on underside of horseshoe crabs. Commonly seen on our Northern shores. 4-7cm. Shell flat ear-like with a spiral of 5-10 small holes. Rocky and rubbly reefs. Sometimes seen on our northern shores.
Coiled tubes on hard surfaces. Tube opening 1-2cm in diameter, coils 10cm long or more. Rocky shores. Sometimes seen on our Northern shores.

Oval body with 8 overlapping plates along the centre. Found on hard surfaces: rocks, shells. Sometimes seen on some of our shores. Up to 12cm. Oval body with 8 overlapping plates along the centre, wide bristly girdle around the edge. Sometimes seen on rocky shores and seawalls.
