seen? This hard coral forms a thick plate with large bumps. It is rarely encountered on the intertidal.
Features: Colonies 20-30cm. Encrusting plate, thick. Large cup-shaped corallites (about 1.5cm) that look like a nose. Polyp tentacles are only extended
at night. |
