wild photos: Changi 20 Jul 04, 6am
I re-visited a small flat at Changi. During my first visit this year in April, it was pretty beat up. Today, it is obviously recovering. There was a great deal of soft sediments (I sank up to my knees) instead of the sand bar that was there last year. Nevertheless, the mud bloomed with seaweeds, peacock anemones, sea pens and large carpet anemones. There were also lots of fierce crabs. They must be doing well, as I even caught a pair mating :-)

See also my MMS uploads for more about this trip.
