Foul smell at Pandan Reservoir caused by dead fish

SINGAPORE: A foul smell was detected at Pandan Reservoir by a MediaCorp News Hotline caller on Monday morning.

Residents said more than 10 dead fish were found floating in the reservoir, some of which had already decomposed.

The PUB said it has tested the water at Pandan Reservoir and found it to be safe.

It added that it is common to find a few dead fish during the dry and hot season due to a lack of oxygen in the water.
