15 Nov (Sat): Discover the Kranji Nature Trail
Time: Meet at 3.30 pm at the carpark by Kranji Reservoir Dam (opposite the dam’s towers) along Kranji Way.
Open only to NSS members and associates

Shawn Lum and the Plant Group will show that Singapore’s latest trail through mangroves is more than just a pretty place; it is an important part of an expanse of mangroves stretching from Kranji to Lim Chu Kang and beyond. Take a leisurely stroll through this lovely trail to reacquaint ourselves with the mangrove flora as well as to get a better picture of how this new site fits into the broader context of coastal habitat ecology and protection. As the trail ends at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, you may wish to end the walk with a late afternoon visit to look for migratory shorebirds.
