Where
seen? A small, well camouflaged mudskipper that is seen in mangroves and
other silty shores.
Features: 4-5cm. A tiny mudskipper
with slender body. Gianluca
Polgar of the Encyclopedia
of Life highlighted these features that identify the Slender mudskipper:
The first dorsal fin has a dark spot at the base towards the tail,
lacks a white margin, lacks a red tint and is relatively small in
size, with a wide interdorsal gap (distance between the first dorsal
fin, and the longer dorsal fin further back on the top of the body).
