Oceanapia sagittaria
20cm. A central tube-like structure, encircled by finger-like extensions. Yellow, black, brown, greenish. On and among coral rubble, also rocks that stay submerged. Commonly seen on many of our shores. 5cm tall. Horn-shaped in clumps that may be spread over 30-40cm. Beige to pale yellow. Among coral rubble. Seen on Chek Jawa. Bright orange long skinny strings about 0.2cm in diameter, in a tangled jumble that may be 20cm wide. Sometimes seen on Beting Bronok. Small delicate white or transparent straws 1-2cm tall. Sometimes seen on some of our shores. 1-2cm. Small prickly balls on a short stem. The balls have fine sheets between the prickles. Seen singly but sometimes a few together. On coral rubble. Sometimes seen on some of our shores.

10-15cm. Globular topped with many large smooth cones that have large holes at the tips and nodules at the base.. Yellow or orange. Among coral rubble. Commonly seen on many of our shores. 10-15cm. Cones, lumpy fingers or bumps. Bright yellow, banana yellow or brown. Among coral rubble. Sometimes seen on our northern shores. 10-15cm. Globular topped with many large smooth cones that have large holes at the tips and nodules at the base.. Yellow or orange. Among coral rubble. Commonly seen on many of our shores.    

Sponge species are difficult to positively identify without close examination.
