Where seen? This small cowrie has so far only been seen at Cyrene Reef. It is globally considered uncommon. It was previously known as Cypraea walkeri or Erronea walkeri walkeri.

Features:
2-2.5cm. Shell somewhat pear-shaped, generally pale blue with 3 dark brown bands, centre band much broader, outer bands may be broken up into squares. Underside pale violet with brown spots and short, dark violet 'teeth'. The living animal has a red mantle
with white branching finger-like structures (papillae) while the foot is red with some white dots or blotches.
