Dr Chua's latest book has been truly a labour of love. With trademark quiet
efficiency, he has put together yet another monumental work almost as if
by magic. This is the latest of four books that he has authored! I still
don't know how he he does it.
Dr Chua is now in Malaysia for the launch. So he couldn't be with us for
this series of super low tide visits. We miss him and we wish him all the
very best for the launch!
Do look out for his latest book in our bookshops!

hi Ria and rest of the crew. I did not expect such a grand book launch
at Sandakan on the 30 of Aug. GOH was the Chief Minister of Sabah
Dato Musa Haji Aman and we were later invited to his residence for
dinner (3,000 people) and was in the motorcade to the city for the
National Day celebrations. The launch was quite emotional as some
of my members cried as the book touched our hearts as it took so long
to complete. It was attended by more than 200 people including dignitaries
and cabinet ministers. I really felt good caressing the book. Of all
the launches, this is most memorable! Ria, you will get a copy for
helping me vet the text. Kotohuadan (which is thank you in Kadazan)

Wow! What a wonderful event it must have been! A book launch is like
the finale of giving birth to a baby. The joy after the pain of months
(in your case years) of heart ache and hard work. Congratulations
once again. I too can't wait to caress your newest baby :-) |
