Make sea sports affordable to more people and provide facilities

During the school holidays I want my children to go sailing. However, it is very costly to enrol in a course and rent a boat. The only clubs are from the People's Association, SAF Yacht Club and Singapore Sailing Club.

There is not much interest in sea sports here, other than wading at the beach. We need to bring sea sports to the children, especially those of the lower income group.

It would be good if the relevant ministries or clubs initiate, encourage and instil sea sports activities for the youths and make the amenities and facilities affordable for all.

I hope the National Trades Union Congress or the People's Association can provide free or low-cost sailing boats and kayaks for rental for the public, especially the children.
